Karunesh Talwar is amongst one the most prominent names in the Stand-Up scene in India, he was a part of the Indian stand-up scene even before stand-up was popular in India. He was born in Ghaziabad of UP and later his family moved to Mumbai where he was brought up, he completed his education through Mithibai College Mumbai and was already working as a freelance writer, he has written several award shows including Filmfare awards. He has also worked as a writer for one of the most renowned sketch comedy company known as All India Bakchod also known as AIB and he also for a brief period has worked as a writer for the Kapil Sharma Show. Karunesh released his first Stand-Up video in 2016 titled ‘Parents’ which has over 6 million views since then he has released 14 Stand-Up videos with the most popular one being ‘Stuff about Bollywood’ which has around 12 million views on it. Karunesh has got it all from his amazing observational jokes on the day-to-day stuff and Bollywood and thought-provoking jokes on issues like women’s safety and fairness cream. He has also released two comedy specials on Amazon Prime titled ‘Pata Nahi Par Bolna Hai’ and ‘Aalas Motaapa and Ghabraahat’, in his first special he talks about his observation about rappers, Indian uncles and ends with a personal story from his school days, and his second special gets more personal he talks about his parents and how they react to his career and more personal thoughts about himself and with a tad bit of self-deprecating humor.
